I have been kicking myself because I haven’t announced this sooner, but a few weeks ago I was promoted to blue belt under Relson Gracie.
Last month Relson Gracie was in town for a seminar at Denver Jiu Jitsu. After the seminar they held a promotion ceremony. In addition to my new belt, two teachers I train under where also promoted with new notches on their belts.
It was a good day. Relson’s seminar was amazing – I learned a ton – and it was that much better to get my blue belt afterwards.
