		<description>I think the cup/no cup debate is like the gi/no gi debate.  Maybe you should do both once in a while?  I used a cup ALWAYS for about the first year of jits.  When I went to brazil, I was told nobody there uses it because it&#039;s not allowed in IBJJF competitions, so why train with it.  I started without it and it was scary at first.  People passed my guard pretty easilly with the knee cut pass because I was paranoid about getting my junk stomped on, but I got used to it and developed a &quot;sixth sense&quot; too to avoid such incidents.  But having already broken a finger and a toe, maybe a cup isn&#039;t a bad idea again.</description>
