		<description>I head about this Mat toe as well and possibly I have it. Experienced a lot of pain and problems with my big toe but it went away more recently after I have taken a period of rest due to other injuries.

I think one way to prevent foot injuries including toes and mat burns is to wear wrestling shoes. I don&#039;t know if some academies don&#039;t like this but this is certainly a way to prevent these.

Grappling socks is an alternative but I think they won&#039;t prevent toe injuries in a big way.</description>
